Firstly, everything else aside, OOP’s guy sucks purely on the basis of him putting his hands on someone unbidden. That aside…

OOP seems to peg the guy as a chaser on the basis that he got more into it after learning she was trans, though maybe there’s more to it based on something that wasn’t mentioned. The prospect of a date doesn’t rule that out, because the prototypical chaser behaviour is a man who’ll string a trans woman along with a “relationship” that he never lets anyone else find out about.

I think you definitely shouldn’t let anyone “use” you in that way (not specific to chasers), but at the same time, if all you want is sex and all they want is sex and everyone is clear about that, then why not?

Eh, I feel like this probably occurred in the sort of place where you implicitly consent to touching subject to body language. The initial grinding would be considered an “unless told not to” type of thing, and then when OOP “went with it” that was consent for a little more and so on. Verbal consent is the gold standard, sure, but some people like to read and be read between the lines. After all, OP and OOP both seem fine with the situation.

I don’t understand why you’re confused. The guy OOP was with was into her before he knew she was trans, meaning he doesn’t exclusively go for trans gals, meaning he probably sees her as a person more than a minority group he thinks is hot which is the definition of a chaser

That happened to me, ended differently.

And no I didn’t consent to be touched, fuck them and people harassing. Probably will not go clubbing again unless I’m in a safe group.

And that’s why I do t go to clubs.

I’m horrible at reading body language directed at me, so I either end up doing something inappropriate because I misread the situation, or, the much more likely scenario is, I end up doing nothing when I was given the (not so) clear signal…

Because people aren’t comfortable talking. And it does make it awkward when e.g. you’re dancing with someone. “hey can I touch your waist” etc.

In the story, the guy isn’t looking for an “experience with a trans”, but accepts that a trans woman is a woman. He doesn’t reject her after his physical satisfaction. And him and the narator seem to agree on the start of the relationship… Why would it be wrong?

How solid of a BJ was that, where you get so tired you fall asleep immediately after?

Punnily, it must have been pretty hard.

Well, I do disproportionately approach trans women. That IRL girl I told you about found it weird until I explained my motives. Yes, it takes meeting a mahō shōjo for me to overcome my shyness but I don’t go further than normal men meeting cis women and I’m clear about consent, so I think it’s not creepy. This does mean I’m putting (some) women on a pedestal but that can be deat with as I try to unlearn patriarchy…
